Green Parcs Limited - In Administration
Matt Cowlishaw, John Reid and Dominic Wong of Deloitte, the business advisory firm, were appointed as Joint Administrators of Green Parcs Limited by the directors on 10 June 2010.
The Company owns and operates three caravan parks around Inverness in northern Scotland, including the Silver Sands Leisure Park located in Lossiemouth and Riverview Country Park in Mundole.
The Administrators are continuing to trade the parks and are marketing the parks for sale.
Matt Cowlishaw, partner in the reorganisation services practice at Deloitte commented:
"These are well established and popular sites which were caught out by the current economic environment. We are currently operating these sites on a "business as usual basis" whilst we seek parties who may be interested in taking the business forward and improving the operations for the benefit of existing residents and to attract new customers. The parks have significant development potential and will be an attractive investment. Any parties interested in acquiring the parks as a portfolio or individually should contact the Administrators".
Important Notice - On 10 June 2010, Matt Cowlishaw, John Reid and Dominic Wong were appointed Joint Administrators and now manage the affairs, business and property of Green Parcs Limited. The Joint Administrators contract as agents of the Company only and without personal liability. Matt Cowlishaw and Dominic Wong are authorised by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) and John Reid is authorised by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Scotland (ICAS).
